global missions

Kirkwood has a strong history of supporting mission teams and sending them to serve in places of need. In Kirkwood members have traveled to Punta Gorda, Belize with Mission: Hope (formerly Rivers of the World) to share their faith in Jesus Christ with the people of local villages, help with construction projects, train local pastors, and run a sewing school to help local women learn a sustainable skill. Our missionary spirit was also expressed by working with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy. We continue to seek God's guidance and look for other opportunities for Kirkwood to send mission teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to the world!
