Children's ministry

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children." ~Matthew 19:14 (NLT)

Children are not just the future of the church, they are the church. At Kirkwood, we want children to be present in worship and the life of the church. We involve them in the worship, as well as offer discipleship classes (Sunday School) Sunday mornings, and special family activities throughout the year. We also provide a wonderful nursery for all 3 of our services on Sundays.

Children & Youth Sunday School

Our Children & Youth Sunday School is designed to engage our youngest through teen disciples with the Word of God through Bible lessons, crafts, activities, and music. Our Children & Youth Sunday School program meets at 10am in the Fellowship Hall Classrooms (Pfrangle Hall) after The Well Service: 

  • Toddlers - Pre-K          Rm 106
  • K - Grade 2                 Rm 115
  • Grade 3 - 5                 Rm 108
  • Grade 5 - 7                  Rm 112
  • Grade 8 - 12               Rm 111

Nursery

Our excellent nursery program for infants through Kindergarten. Nursery care is available during Sunday School Hour and all Sunday Worship Services (The Chapel, The Well, and The Traditional Service).
